Dennis Gillan is a mental health advocate who lost his two brothers to suicide 11 years apart. For years, he suffered in silence with the pain these losses caused, before deciding to share his story publicly and encourage others to speak openly about depression, loneliness and suicidal ideation.
In honor of Suicide Prevention Month, cofounder Lauren O'Shaughnessy will be interviewing Dennis to learn more about his experiences coping with loss, becoming a suicide awareness advocate and intervention volunteer, entering therapy, reaching sobriety, and more. Tune in live on Instagram tomorrow.
